Hi, my name is Debbie and I have been a stay at home mom for the past 21 years raising my 3 children, now 21, 19 and 16. They are almost grown now, doing their own thing, so I thought it was time for me to do mine! While at home, I did bookkeeping for a fairly large car rental company and while trying to figure out "what to do" with myself, I noticed that there is no "alternative" to renting a new, very expensive car if and when you need one and an idea grew. STAR Car Rental could offer a less expensive, less "new" but very clean, car so that people could now have a choice as to what to rent, new or used. I am certainly not trying to compete with the "big boys", but there is a definite need for a "smart alternative" vs... new car rental so that is what I am offering. STAR Car Rental was conceived in January of 2007! While doing bookkeeping at home for 14 years for that other company, I was able to learn a tremendous amount about the car rental business. Coupled with my experience raising 3 kids my aim is to be able to give my customers not only a much better value for their money renting a car from STAR Car Rental, but also the personal and friendly service of a "Mom". My goal is to fulfill my customers needs for a "smart alternative" when renting a car, and also try to exceed their expectations for service, quality and value. I will strive to earn my customers long-term loyalty by being honest, fair and going the "extra mile" to make sure that everyone that rents a car from STAR Car Rental is completely satisfied. My cars are a couple of years older than the "big boys" cars, but they are very clean. My husband used to be a mechanic "way back when", so he is helping me out in that department. My dog, Duke, keeps me company at work.
